The race takes place at beautiful Beltzville State Park in Lehighton, Pennsylvania in the heart of the Pocono Mountains.
This year the race will take place on two days offering
an entire weekend of triathlon and festival-style activities.

 Black Bear Triathlon Switches to Olympic Distance
This years Black Bear Triathlon will host Sprint and OLYMPIC Distances for 2010. We will no longer be offering a half iron distance.
While we hate to get rid of the half iron distance we believe that the challenging course, magnificent scenery and central location will make the Black Bear OLYMPIC one of the regions’ premiere races!

 The race site is just over an hour from Philadelphia and New Jersey and within two hours of New York City.
- The course is by far one of the most scenic courses you will ever race.
- Saturday and Sunday features great music, a variety retailers and more!
