Favorite Running Inspired Books & Movies
As it gets closer and closer to race day, I get more and more excited about getting to the start line, pounding the pavement for miles and crossing that finish line with a massive smile on my face. I get super excited before each and every race day that comes along – each one is so different and no mile run is ever the same.
To get myself mentally in the zone and extra inspired to run my best race yet, I always like to read a book or watch a movie with a running focus to get my mind right – it’s a fun little pre-race tradition I have. It’s one of those things I look forward to throughout my training. I have found a few favorites & am always on the hunt to add new ones to my rotation, but I thought it would be fun to share with you my favorite running-inspired books & movies I always to enjoy before a big race.
Here are a few of my favorites – check them out, let me know what you think & if you have any others I should add to my collection, please let me know!
